HOWTO: Install / update / make Raspberry ready for the slimmemeter software
Step 1: Copy image onto an SD-card (from linux)

(Check if device is mounted... )
Code:
df -h
If a line with /dev/mmcblk0 is present, umount this:
Code:
umout /dev/mmcblk0??

Now write the image:
Code:
time sudo dd bs=4M if=./2013-02-09-wheezy-raspbian.img of=/dev/mmcblk0
sudo sync

Place the SD-card in the raspberry and power-up. Then do the following after logging in.
Code:
sudo raspi-config
Now change timezone
Also expand rootfs if this is not moved to USB stick (see other entry)

Now add apache / php as software:
Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo reboot

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get -y install apache2
sudo apt-get -y install php5

And create the correct files for the website:
Code:
sudo chmod 777 /var/www
sudo rm -f /var/www/index.html

Create the correct directories:
Code:
cd
mkdir update
mkdir slimmemeter
mkdir slimmemeter-data
mkdir /var/www/data
chmod 777 update

Then copy the version-file into ~/update/update_now.tar.gz
