Needed: mailutils package.
Code:
sudo apt-get install mailutils

This will also install exim4

I can send mail with the chello-mail host. Here's my /etc/exim4/update-exim4.conf.conf file:
Code:
dc_eximconfig_configtype='satellite'
dc_other_hostnames='raspDev.digdas.nl'
dc_local_interfaces='127.0.0.1'
dc_readhost='raspDev'
dc_relay_domains=''
dc_minimaldns='true'
dc_relay_nets=''
dc_smarthost='mail.chello.nl'
CFILEMODE='644'
dc_use_split_config='false'
dc_hide_mailname='true'
dc_mailname_in_oh='true'
dc_localdelivery='mail_spool'
disable_ipv6=true

To send a mail, just specify from and to address:
Code:
echo 'Hello world in the body' | mail -s 'Hello world as subject'  -a from:mysenduser@its.domain receiver@its.domain
mysenduser@its.domain and receiver@its.domain should be modified to the correct values.

mailx will send the mail through chello-mail server.
